Surprising Nuremberg Parallels

Many members of the Nazi military command structure were punished during the original Nuremberg trials for their failure to obtain non-coerced consent to medical procedures and for not explaining their effectiveness or safety.

Beginning with the American Revolutionary War, the American military command structure imposed mandatory medical treatment, in that case for anthrax,  the beginnings of the Anthrax Vaccine Immunization Program (“AVIP”).

Resistance to mandatory military vaccination for Covid-19 largely came from resistance by military personnel based on religious beliefs or doubts about the effectiveness or safety of the so-called “vaccines.” There was similar backlash from the AVIP program.  Military members were administratively punished or even court-martialed for refusals. Recruits were dismissed for Covid-19 vaccine refusals, and active-duty personnel were subject to administrative action or court-martial charges at their commander’s discretion. Despite these policies, thousands of Air Force personnel did not comply with the Covid-19 vaccine mandate deadline. Refusals led to legal action and other-than-honorable discharges.

The original Nuremberg punishments are precedent for punishing current military officers for their acts in penalizing military members who refused the Covid-19 “vaccines.”
