After Lea returned to America from the Russian penal colony and rescued her young daughter, Clara, she started on the Movement’s assignments to bring back freedom:
“The good news is the Movement doesn’t mind if we put the judge under the proverbial cornfield. Apparently, the judge is one Linda Beckinsale, married to an influential, local surgeon who provides serious medical help to members of the Movement, not limited to just patching them up after encounters with local authorities. According to the woman in the Cadillac, Judge Beckinsale is far on the ‘progressive’ side of the ledger. She became part of the Covenant ‘judiciary’ as the result of substantial funding by every liberal’s friend, George Soros, and another pretend election. In other words, the couple doesn’t see eye-to-eye on politics, but her husband helps the Movement without her knowing about it anyway. I guess if you’re a surgeon, there are many calls at odd hours. The Movement’s best guess is there’s a lot of marital friction on many issues, not the least of which is what to do with their son who’s at a pricey boarding school in Connecticut, beginning to identify as female and wears women’s clothing and high heels, not even a little bit popular here in this conservative North Country town. The judge only works in the courtroom, which was the beginning of my journey to Penal Colony 627 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. She takes long weekends, mostly alone with her two Weimaraners, at their lavish mansion on a hill overlooking the west side of Lake Titus. I vaguely remember Lake Titus as being south out of Malone, off Route 30, the way we came in from Carthage. The Beckinsale country home apparently cannot be missed on Popular Drive, which bends along the western shore of Lake Titus. Let’s think about how best to pay Judge Beckinsale a visit after her weekend begins on a Thursday afternoon.”
